What you will be doing
- Facilitating Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that prompt students to say, "I didn't realize I was capable of that!" You'll teach practical skills—from public speaking to entrepreneurship—that truly inspire.
- Conducting daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset to achieve them.
- Fostering student achievement: Apply proven frameworks to ensure every student reaches demanding academic and personal objectives.
- Designing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to develop reward systems and incentives that encourage self-motivated excellence.
What you will NOT be doing
- Conventional instruction: Forget traditional chalkboards and lecture formats. At Alpha, students master core subjects through advanced apps—your role is to mentor, inspire, and enhance their learning experience.
- Issuing discipline: We reject punitive approaches. Instead, you'll apply logic and positive reinforcement to foster a respectful, stimulating environment.
Candidate requirements
- Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Experience employing a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
- High level of energy and a desire to boost others up.
- A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
- Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
