You've dedicated years to coaching children — not simply teaching them. You understand the distinction: a coach builds rapport, sets high expectations, and insists that students reach their full potential. A teacher transmits information. You've never been about information transmission.

It's facilitating life skills workshops that capture the attention of K-8 students, conducting motivation sessions that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintaining standards when a student attempts to underperform. The academic component is self-sustaining. You manage the developmental side.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students addressing topics including public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange
- Administering Test2Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify students have authentically acquired the skill, not merely attended
- Conducting daily motivation sessions utilizing student profiles, personal interests, and Coachbot analytics to ensure 100% of your cohort achieves weekly app progression goals
- Employing narrative techniques, incentive systems (campus currency, leaderboards), and individual rapport to overcome student reluctance
- Monitoring cohort satisfaction ratings with a 90%+ benchmark on student feedback surveys
What you will NOT be doing
- Presenting lectures at a whiteboard. Students progress academically via self-directed applications, not through direct instruction from you.
- Providing passive supervision. Children working on computers describes the environment; active facilitation defines the role.
- Reducing expectations when students resist. Test2Pass performance standards remain constant, irrespective of individual circumstances.
- Creating original curriculum — instructional frameworks and workshop guides are supplied; your responsibility is executing them with the charisma and narrative skill that ensures genuine student engagement.
- Handling parent relations, conducting enrollment activities, or directing facility operations. Those functions belong to separate roles.

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) students
- Strong storytelling ability and facilitation presence — capable of sustaining children's engagement throughout one-hour sessions
- Able to work on-site at Alpha's Brownsville, TX campus
- Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth programming facilitator
- Demonstrated history of excellence in competitive settings (academic, athletic, or professional)
- Familiarity with self-paced or application-based learning environments
