What you will be doing
- Facilitating Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that leave students thinking, "I never realized I was capable of this!" You'll teach practical skills—from entrepreneurship to public speaking—that energize and empower.
- Running daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset required to achieve them.
- Driving student achievement: Apply structured playbooks to ensure each student reaches challenging academic and personal milestones.
- Designing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to build reward systems and incentives that fuel intrinsic motivation and self-directed success.
What you will NOT be doing
- Conventional instruction: Leave behind chalkboards and lecture formats. Alpha students engage with advanced learning apps for core academics—you're here to mentor, motivate, and enhance their educational experience.
- Enforcing discipline: Punishment isn't part of our approach. You'll rely on reasoning and affirmative strategies to foster a respectful, stimulating learning atmosphere.
Candidate requirements
- Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Experience employing a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
- High level of energy and a desire to boost others up.
- A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
- Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
