You've dedicated years to coaching young people — not merely instructing them. You understand the distinction: a coach inspires, pushes boundaries, and won't accept anything less than a student's full potential. An instructor delivers lessons. You've never operated as a lesson delivery mechanism.

Students don't remain seated in traditional rows receiving lectures — they progress through AI-driven learning platforms at individualized speeds. Your responsibility isn't explaining mathematical concepts. It's facilitating life skills sessions that captivate K-8 students, conducting motivation meetings that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintaining standards when a student attempts to underperform. The academic progression is automated. You manage the human element.
This position offers meaningful advancement potential. Coordinators who consistently achieve their metrics (100% cohort completion of weekly app objectives, satisfaction ratings above 90%) advance to Lead positions where they mentor other educators and influence campus environment.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-8 students on topics including public speaking, concentration techniques, and feedback exchange
- Administering Test2Pass mastery evaluations following each session to verify students have authentically acquired the skill, not merely attended
- Conducting daily motivation meetings using student profiles, personal interests, and Coachbot data to ensure 100% of your cohort achieves their weekly app progression targets
- Leveraging narrative techniques, incentive systems (campus currency, leaderboards), and individual relationships to overcome student reluctance
- Monitoring cohort satisfaction metrics toward a 90%+ benchmark on student feedback surveys
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering traditional classroom lectures. Students progress academically via self-directed applications, not through direct instruction from you.
- Supervising passively. Children using computers is the environment; active facilitation is the expectation.
- Compromising standards when students resist. Test2Pass requirements remain consistent, regardless of individual circumstances during a given week.
- Creating curriculum independently — workshop frameworks and lesson structures are supplied; your responsibility is executing them with the energy and narrative skill that ensures genuine student absorption.
- Handling parent communication, enrollment processes, or facility management. Those functions belong to different roles.
Key responsibilities
Guide a cohort of K-8 students to achieve 100% of their weekly academic targets while facilitating life skills sessions with satisfaction ratings of 90% or higher.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) students
- Strong storytelling and facilitation skills — capable of maintaining children's engagement for an hour
- Availability to work on-site at the Alpha campus in Brownsville, TX
- Authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program leader
- Demonstrated history of high achievement in competitive settings (academic, athletic, or professional)
- Familiarity with self-directed or app-based educational environments
