Head of Brand   $100,000 USD/year

Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires on-site presence at our Austin, Texas campus.

Traditional schools focus on teaching students what to think. This position trains them how to execute.

Alpha is constructing a fundamentally different high school—one where students don't passively attend lectures or commit information to memory. Instead, they build, launch, communicate, and evolve. They initiate projects, experiment with concepts, and acquire practical skills that elude most adults. Your responsibility is to ensure they follow through and perform at a high standard.

You will engage directly with high school students as they launch businesses, manage projects, and cultivate the confidence, communication ability, and competence necessary for post-graduation success. You are not present to deliver theoretical instruction. You are here to guide execution. You will establish rigorous expectations, maintain student accountability, and challenge them to generate work that meets real-world standards.

This position suits individuals who have accomplished something substantive beyond academic settings—built a product, expanded an audience, operated within a startup, or delivered results in a high-velocity environment—and seek to leverage that background to develop emerging leaders. If you're seeking a conventional teaching position, this isn't it. If you want to influence how driven teenagers think, behave, and perform, this is your opportunity.

If you've achieved meaningful outcomes in your career and want to dedicate your time challenging motivated teenagers to reach their potential, this is your platform. Apply now

  • Monitor student advancement across the 3 C's and take corrective action when performance declines
  • Maintain transparent communication with students and parents regarding progress, shortfalls, and action plans

What you will NOT be doing

  • Presenting traditional lectures or following a standardized curriculum
  • Evaluating volumes of homework or emphasizing abstract knowledge
