Marketing Director   $100,000 USD/year

Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires in-person attendance at our Austin, Texas campus.

Traditional schools focus on telling students what to think. This position focuses on training them how to execute.

Alpha is constructing an unconventional high school—one where students skip the lectures and rote memorization. Instead, they build, ship, communicate, and grow. They launch projects, validate ideas, and acquire real-world capabilities that many adults never attain. Your responsibility is to ensure they follow through and perform at a high standard.

You will engage directly with high school students as they launch businesses, manage projects, and cultivate the confidence, communication skills, and competence necessary for post-graduation success. Theory is not your mandate. Coaching execution is. You will establish rigorous expectations, enforce accountability, and challenge students to deliver work that meets real-world standards.

This position suits individuals who have accomplished something substantial outside academic settings—launched a product, built an audience, worked in a startup, or delivered results in a demanding environment—and wish to leverage that experience to develop the next generation. If you seek a conventional teaching position, look elsewhere. If you aim to influence how driven teenagers think, act, and perform, this is your opportunity.

If you have achieved something meaningful in your career and want to dedicate your time to pushing motivated teenagers toward their full potential, this is your venue. Apply now
