Community Manager   $100,000 USD/year

Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires on-site presence at our Austin, Texas campus.

Traditional schools focus on teaching students what to think. This position exists to train them in how to execute.

Alpha is creating a reimagined high school experience—one where students bypass lectures and rote memorization. Instead, they build, ship, communicate, and advance. They launch projects, experiment with ideas, and cultivate real-world capabilities that many adults never acquire. Your responsibility is ensuring they follow through effectively and maintain high standards.

You will engage directly with high school students as they launch businesses, manage projects, and build the confidence, communication skills, and competence necessary for post-school success. You are not here to deliver theoretical instruction. You are here to guide execution. You will establish rigorous expectations, maintain accountability, and challenge students to create work that meets real-world standards.

This position suits individuals who have achieved meaningful results outside traditional classrooms—whether by building a product, expanding an audience, working in a startup environment, or delivering outcomes in high-velocity settings—and wish to channel that experience toward developing the next generation. If you seek a conventional teaching position, look elsewhere. If you want to influence how driven teenagers think, operate, and perform, this is the opportunity.

If you have accomplished something substantive in your career and want to dedicate your time to guiding motivated teenagers toward their full potential, this is your platform. Apply now
