Your role doesn't involve lecturing to 30 students or adhering to standardized district frameworks. Instead, you'll mentor small cohorts of self-motivated learners pursuing faster progress, deeper understanding, and educational ownership. If your success stems from non-traditional achievement (competition, athletics, entrepreneurship, creative endeavors) and you understand how to convert motivation into measurable outcomes, this position leverages your experience for their growth.

What you will be doing
- Engaging with students daily through direct mentorship and peer-level motivational coaching
- Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI tools to enable individualized pace and progress
- Facilitating small-group sessions centered on leadership development, life skills, and practical success frameworks
- Guiding students to identify personal strengths and broaden their aspirations via customized development plans
- Participating in the evolution of Alpha's educational model by providing data, feedback, and innovative recommendations

- Delivering instruction in core academic subjects - technology handles that

Candidate requirements
- Ability to work on-site at one of the following locations: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Miami, FL; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Verifiable track record of exceptional achievement (examples: top academic distinctions, D1/Olympic-level athletics, national-level competitions, etc.)
- 3 years of hands-on experience working with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles
- Excellent verbal communication and public speaking capabilities
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
