Alpha is transforming the student experience. Our learners don't endure passive lectures—they accelerate through adaptive technology, achieve mastery at double the typical pace, and develop essential life skills simultaneously. Your role is to ensure every student in your cohort experiences our "3 Promises" and to develop our Guides so they deliver the same outcomes consistently.

You will combine exceptional coaching expertise with captivating facilitation skills, converting workshops, data-focused rallies, and precise feedback into powerful developmental experiences. If you've broken performance barriers, transformed struggling teams into top performers, or consistently reject mediocrity, we want you creating excellence alongside us.

What makes Alpha stand out?

  • Market-competitive compensation – elevated pay that reflects the higher cost of living in these metropolitan locations
  • Comprehensive benefits package – full health coverage and ample paid time off
  • Support for relocation – provided to exceptional candidates
  • Development-focused environment – access to coaching, professional training, and defined advancement opportunities

What you will be doing

  • Developing and upskilling Guides to facilitate Alpha's workshops at world-class standards
  • Building Guide Playbooks that document facilitation excellence, design engaging learning experiences, and address common obstacles
  • Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that elevates student participation and outcomes
  • Coaching a small student cohort directly, demonstrating advanced mentorship and motivational techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating curriculum content – your Guides support students working through adaptive platforms; you concentrate on training them to become outstanding motivators
  • Accepting compromise – when the standard is 100% mastery, you uphold that expectation without exception
  • Running dull professional development – you will train Guides through dynamic, energizing, interactive sessions

Key responsibilities

Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort finds joy in school, progresses at 2× speed, and gains mastery of life skills. Accept no compromises.

Candidate requirements

  • Currently located in or prepared to relocate for in-person work at an Alpha Campus (Bethesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA)
