Description

Imagine a role centered on helping children feel motivated, capable, and engaged—without the burden of grading or curriculum planning.

Novatio School is transforming the student support experience. Our AI-driven learning platform delivers core instruction in two concentrated morning hours. After that, students join live interactive workshops where they collaborate, explore new ideas, and develop skills.

You'll maintain momentum and ensure seamless operations. Your focus will be guiding students to their activities, fostering participation in small groups, and providing encouragement when challenges arise. Content delivery isn't your responsibility, but your presence will be critical to the success of every session.

If you have experience leading young people—whether through camps, athletics, tutoring, or community programs—and want to help make education feel meaningful, engaging, and intentional, this role may be the right fit.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating live online workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, activity transitions, and collaborative exercises
  • Encouraging student involvement through direct messaging, public recognition, and one-on-one engagement
  • Maintaining student focus, confidence, and connection throughout learning sessions
  • Supporting lead instructors with operational tasks that ensure workshop continuity
  • Serving as a cultural anchor and reliable presence across bilingual programming and student clubs

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing in academic content areas or delivering subject-based lessons
  • Developing lesson plans or evaluating student work
  • Building curriculum materials or facilitating workshops independently
  • Observing passively—this is an active, dynamic position

Key responsibilities

Facilitate engaging virtual learning environments by ensuring students remain focused, well-organized, and motivated during every workshop.

Candidate requirements

  • Willing to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
  • At least 3 years of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth
  • Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (current location can be anywhere)
  • Strong communication skills and high comfort with digital platforms
  • Energizing, student-first presence with an eye for details and smooth transitions

Nice to have

  • Experience with online learning tools or youth enrichment programs
  • Background in after-school programs, summer camps, or club leadership
