This position is designed for those who want to energize and empower students in their learning journey—without the demands of grading or lesson design.
Novatio School is transforming the student support model. Our AI-driven curriculum delivers core instruction in a concentrated two-hour morning block. Afternoons are reserved for live, interactive workshops where students collaborate, explore, and develop new skills.
You will ensure these sessions run seamlessly and maintain momentum. Your responsibilities include guiding students through transitions, facilitating small group dynamics, and offering encouragement when learners need a boost. While you won't deliver academic instruction, your presence will be critical to the success of every session.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, and supporting group activities
- Encouraging student participation and building confidence through chat engagement, recognition, and one-on-one outreach
- Keeping students focused, motivated, and socially connected throughout their learning sessions
- Supporting lead educators with operational tasks that ensure workshops proceed without disruption
- Serving as a positive, consistent presence and culture ambassador across bilingual programs and student clubs
What you will NOT be doing
- Delivering academic instruction or teaching subject matter content
- Developing lesson plans or evaluating student assignments
- Building curriculum or leading workshops independently
- Observing passively—this role requires active involvement and sustained energy
Key responsibilities
Facilitate dynamic virtual learning environments by ensuring students remain engaged, well-coordinated, and motivated during each workshop session.
Candidate requirements
- Willing to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
- At least 3 years of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth
- Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (current location can be anywhere)
- Strong communication skills and high comfort with digital platforms
- Energizing, student-first presence with an eye for details and smooth transitions
Nice to have
- Experience with online learning tools or youth enrichment programs
- Background in after-school programs, summer camps, or club leadership
