Enrollment Specialist   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

You are the person who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A campus operates smoothly when students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents maintain confidence in the school. This outcome is not accidental. It results from someone quietly coordinating hundreds of details daily—with precision, responsiveness, and intention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced learning, and elevated expectations for both students and adults. This position exists to ensure the operational dimension of campus life meets the same standard we uphold in our classrooms.

In this position, you control the operational pulse of the campus. You manage community communication, campus security, facilities coordination, logistics, and daily technology administration. At any moment, you may coordinate a safety drill, troubleshoot a device problem, onboard a new team member, or respond to a parent inquiry. You are not merely maintaining operations—you are building trust.

This is a practical, on-campus role for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed under pressure, and is committed to upholding a high standard of service. If you seek work where your actions directly influence student safety, staff productivity, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine ownership and meaningful impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff, delivering clear, prompt, and professional communication
  • Administering campus safety protocols, including entry management, health response, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family communication
  • Supervising daily campus functions such as attendance tracking, facilities management, transportation arrangements, and office administration
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation of new staff to enable seamless integration into campus workflows
  • Overseeing student technology and campus devices, serving as the on-site tech coordinator and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic content
  • Mentoring Guides or participating in curriculum design
  • Operating within a limited, single-task administrative capacity
  • Remaining stationary with routine, unchanging responsibilities
  • Delegating issues upward without taking ownership or driving solutions

Key responsibilities

Deliver smooth, secure, and efficient campus operations that continuously enhance the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Available to work in-person in one of our campuses: Piedmont, CA; Boston, MA; Miami Beach, FL; Greenwich, CT; South Bay (LA), CA; Bethesda, MD; La Jolla (San Diego), CA; Boca Raton, FL — or willing to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
