Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus. 

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A smoothly operating campus means students feel secure, staff remain productive, and parents have confidence in the institution. This outcome is not achieved by chance. It is the result of someone quietly coordinating hundreds of moving parts each day—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. This position exists to guarantee that the non-instructional operations of the campus meet the same standard as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. You hold responsibility for community outreach, campus security, facility management and logistics, and daily technology oversight. At any given moment, you might be organizing a safety exercise, troubleshooting a technical issue, onboarding a new team member, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your role extends beyond maintenance—you are building trust.

This is a practical, campus-based position designed for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed under stress, and values delivering exceptional service. What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff, providing clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Directing campus security functions, including entry management, medical situations, emergency exercises, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Supervising everyday campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility management, transport arrangements, and administrative logistics
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation for new employees to facilitate seamless transition into campus workflows
  • Administering student technology and campus systems, functioning as the lead on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic curricula
  • Mentoring Guides or directing instructional design
  • Operating in a limited, single-task clerical capacity
  • Remaining stationary with routine, unchanging responsibilities
  • Escalating issues without taking ownership or achieving resolution

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
