LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Chantilly, VA campus. 

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A smoothly operating campus means students experience security, staff maintain concentration, and parents place their confidence in the institution. This outcome is not coincidental. It results from someone methodically managing hundreds of moving parts each day—with precision, responsiveness, and attention.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking educational models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated standards for both students and faculty. This position exists to guarantee that the campus's operational infrastructure performs at the same level as our academic programs.

In this capacity, you control the operational pulse of the campus. You hold responsibility for community engagement, campus security, facility and logistical coordination, and everyday technology management. At any given time, you might be organizing a safety protocol, troubleshooting a technology problem, facilitating new employee orientation, or responding to a parent inquiry. Your role extends beyond maintenance—you are establishing institutional credibility.

This is a practical, campus-based position suited to someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed during challenges, and commits to delivering exceptional service standards. What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central liaison for parents, students, and staff, providing clear, prompt, and professional correspondence
  • Directing campus safety protocols, including entry management, medical incidents, emergency procedures, record-keeping, and family communication
  • Supervising everyday campus functions such as attendance tracking, facility management, transportation logistics, and administrative operations
  • Facilitating orientation and initial training for incoming staff to guarantee seamless operational integration
  • Administering student technology assets and campus systems, functioning as the on-site tech resource and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic curriculum
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to instructional design
  • Operating within a limited, specialized administrative capacity
  • Performing routine, predictable tasks from a stationary workspace
  • Escalating issues without taking ownership or driving resolution

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
