What you will be doing
- Conducting adaptive reading workshops that develop phonics, comprehension, and fluency capabilities
- Creating individualized motivational experiences through gamified literacy benchmarks
- Evaluating student performance data to improve teaching methods and identify practical insights
- Partnering with engineers to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on instructional outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-supported materials that help early elementary students reach grade-level reading proficiency
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- 2+ years delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
- Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula
- Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behavior patterns
- Legal authorization to work in the Puerto Rico without sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico
