What you will be doing
- Facilitating adaptive reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency competencies
- Creating individualized motivational programming through gamified literacy achievement markers
- Evaluating student performance metrics to optimize teaching methods and extract actionable feedback
- Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI-driven literacy platforms informed by classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-integrated materials that support early elementary learners in reaching grade-level reading standards
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree with specialized certification in reading pedagogy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- 2+ years facilitating small-group reading interventions for early elementary students
- Competent in evaluating reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and crafting differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and attuned to student behavioral trends
- Legal authorization to work in Puerto Rico without sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico
