What you will be doing
- Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and recognizing documented progress
- Create and lead play-based learning sessions integrating SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as an exemplar for the instructional team
- Evaluate and align Guide documentation each week against rubric standards and practical application, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain clear milestone tracking
- Draft family communications and coordinate team briefings that unify focus and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK readiness targets
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certification preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a related area
- Demonstrated experience working with groups of children between the ages of 3 and 5
- Documented success designing and executing play-based educational programs or curricula that support developmental milestone attainment, such as Montessori approaches
- A minimum of 1 year coaching or managing educator teams with accountability for performance outcomes
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities for effective family reporting and staff coordination
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
- Availability to work in person at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support available as needed
