What you will be doing
- Conduct individual and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and highlighting tangible progress
- Create and lead play-based learning activities that integrate social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, setting the standard for instructional excellence
- Assess and standardize Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and actionable insights, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain milestone tracking clarity
- Compile family communications and convene team briefings that synchronize goals and uphold collective standards in pursuit of campus-wide PreK readiness objectives
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or advanced specialized training preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related area
- Demonstrated experience working directly with groups of children between the ages of 3 and 5
- Documented success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that support developmental milestone achievement, such as Montessori methods
- A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising a team of educators with accountability for outcomes
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities for delivering transparent family updates and ensuring team coordination
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Commitment to working in person at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support available as needed
