In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, care, and excellence. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep applicant data accurate to support sound enrollment decisions.

If you excel in a mission-focused, high-energy setting—where responsiveness, structure, and accuracy directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role provides both remote flexibility and consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Manage the admissions inbox with full ownership, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional responses to prospective families (in virtual and face-to-face settings)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with rigorous attention to detail

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow day experiences, and community gatherings, conducted both on-site and virtually

  • Formulate admissions policy or render final enrollment decisions
  • Serve in an entirely backend capacity with no direct family engagement
  • Function within a sluggish, overly procedural setting
  • Concentrate solely on relationship cultivation without robust execution and follow-up

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that a smooth, high-converting admissions process fuels robust enrollment outcomes and family satisfaction throughout Alpha's locations.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable area
  • 2+ years in customer-facing roles within admissions, enrollment, events, or similar functions
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and meticulous
  • Keen attention to detail and demonstrated experience managing accurate applicant records or CRM systems
  • Comfortable integrating remote responsibilities with in-person campus duties
  • Capable of adapting swiftly and succeeding in a fast-moving, mission-oriented environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and available for in-person work in San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY
