NOTE: This is an onsite role requiring your physical presence in NYC.

In this position, you will define the family experience from initial outreach through final enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, authenticity, and high standards. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and uphold meticulous applicant records that support sound decision-making.

If you excel in a dynamic, purpose-driven setting—where attentiveness, structure, and accuracy directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role combines remote flexibility with consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Take ownership of the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and polished responses to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with rigorous attention to accuracy

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow visits, and community gatherings, whether on-site or virtual

Collaborate directly with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day scheduling

Maintain current and precise admissions systems, records, and follow-up protocols

What you will NOT be doing

  • Formulate admissions strategy or render final admissions decisions
  • Function in an entirely administrative capacity with no direct family engagement
  • Work within a slow-moving, heavily bureaucratic structure
  • Prioritize relationship development without robust execution and accountability

Key responsibilities

This role ensures a frictionless, high-conversion admissions journey that strengthens enrollment outcomes and family satisfaction across all Alpha campuses.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and detail-focused
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated experience maintaining accurate applicant records or CRM data
  • Comfortable managing a blend of remote work and in-person campus duties
  • Able to adapt swiftly and succeed in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to work in-person in NYC; NY or willing to relocate

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience facilitating admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
