This role centers on guiding each family from initial inquiry through enrollment, making certain that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, approachability, and high standards. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions experiences, and keep applicant data accurate to support sound decision-making.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where responsiveness, structure, and accuracy have a direct effect on family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid opportunity combines remote flexibility with consistent in-person participation at admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Manage and oversee the admissions inbox, providing prompt, considered, and professional responses to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous attention to accuracy

Attend all admissions events, such as information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether on-site or virtual

Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day visits

Maintain current and precise admissions systems, records, and follow-up communications

What you will NOT be doing

  • Shape overall admissions strategy or render final enrollment decisions
  • Function in an entirely back-office capacity without direct family contact
  • Work within a sluggish, heavily bureaucratic structure
  • Concentrate solely on interpersonal rapport without disciplined execution and follow-through

Key responsibilities

This position ensures that a frictionless, high-conversion admissions journey produces robust enrollment and family satisfaction across Alpha's campuses.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a closely related area
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience in admissions, enrollment, event coordination, or similar functions
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and attentive to detail
  • High degree of precision and track record of maintaining accurate applicant records or CRM systems
  • At ease managing both remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
  • Capable of adjusting rapidly and succeeding in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment
  • Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in either San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; or NYC, NY
