Long-term role

Campus Manager   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role located at one of our campuses.

A well-managed campus goes unnoticed. A poorly managed one disrupts everything. This position ensures that Alpha campuses function with reliability, safety, and precision—day in and day out.

Alpha is creating one of the world's most ambitious educational frameworks. Our classrooms operate at pace. Our expectations are elevated. That demands campus operations that are structured, agile, and designed to scale. This position is accountable for all non-instructional operations that enable students and Guides to achieve peak performance.

You will serve as the operational foundation of the campus. You'll handle communication with parents and staff, lead safety and security protocols, maintain facilities and logistical systems, and ensure that technology functions dependably for all users. You intervene when systems fail, identify potential issues before they grow, and introduce organized stability in fast-moving environments.

This is not a limited coordination position. It is a hands-on, high-visibility role designed for individuals who excel with accountability, diversity of tasks, and execution. If you seek a position where your choices directly impact student safety, staff performance, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine ownership and responsibility.

What you will be doing

  • Serving as a key contact point for parents, students, and staff to deliver timely, clear, and professional communication
  • Leading campus safety functions including access management, health event response, emergency drills, record-keeping, and parent notifications
  • Supervising daily campus logistics including attendance systems, transportation arrangements, facility upkeep, and office functions
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation of new staff to guarantee operational preparedness from the outset
  • Administering student devices and campus technology, functioning as the on-site Google Administrator and technical point of contact

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or providing academic support
  • Mentoring Guides or influencing curriculum design
  • Functioning in a strictly clerical or narrowly defined capacity
  • Working within a slow-paced or entirely predictable setting
  • Escalating unresolved issues to others rather than taking ownership of results

Key responsibilities

Sustain secure, efficient, and dependable campus operations that continuously enhance the experience of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational roles
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology tasks including device configuration, troubleshooting, and account management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities when engaging with parents, staff, and vendors
  • Capacity to juggle multiple priorities while preserving accuracy and attention to detail
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Must be available to work in person in Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA, Chicago; IL or Fort Worth; TX
