Family Engagement Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You are the person families recall when they choose where to send their child. From initial inquiry through final enrollment, you define how Alpha sounds, feels, and fulfills its commitments. This position is designed for someone who understands that precision, responsiveness, and genuine care are not competing values—they are baseline expectations.

Alpha is transforming the concept of school. Our campuses blend academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent philosophy that honors both students and their families. Admissions is where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families approach us with curiosity, doubt, and optimism. Your responsibility is to turn ambiguity into certainty.

In this position, you oversee the admissions journey after interest has been indicated. You will answer family questions promptly and with professionalism, arrange campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data precise and current, and conduct meaningful conversations that clarify Alpha's model so parents can assess fit for their child. This is not a background support function. You are externally visible, detail-oriented, and responsible for the way families perceive Alpha.

This is a dynamic, campus-based position suited to someone who thrives managing concurrent demands without sacrificing accuracy or personal connection. If you value operational excellence, clear communication, and building experiences that feel effortless to those you serve, this role provides meaningful autonomy and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Answering inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and facilitating admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences for students
  • Keeping applicant records accurate and current across admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational philosophy, respond to questions, and capture their input
  • Collaborating closely with campus leadership and admissions colleagues to ensure every family progresses smoothly

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final admissions or enrollment determinations
  • Delivering classroom instruction or assisting with daily teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales techniques or inflexible conversation frameworks
  • Operating in settings where expectations, standards, or direction lack clarity

Key responsibilities

Create a high-integrity, high-conversion admissions pathway that supports families from initial outreach through assured enrollment.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Experience in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Prior involvement supporting admissions events or family-facing programs
  • Ease working within rapidly evolving, technology-enabled settings
