Admissions Associate   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You will be the person families remember when they make their enrollment decision. You will influence how Alpha feels, communicates, and fulfills its commitments from the moment a family expresses interest through their final choice. This role is designed for someone who understands that speed, precision, and genuine care are not competing priorities—they define the baseline.

Alpha is transforming the traditional school experience. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent educational philosophy that honors students and their families. Admissions serves as the bridge where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families arrive curious, doubtful, and optimistic. Your responsibility is to turn their uncertainty into clarity and trust.

In this position, you oversee the admissions journey after a family has shown interest. You will answer family questions promptly and with professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow experiences, keep applicant data accurate and current, and facilitate meaningful discussions that help parents evaluate whether Alpha's approach aligns with their child's needs. This is a highly visible role. You are client-facing, precision-oriented, and responsible for shaping how families perceive Alpha.

This is a dynamic, campus-based position suited to someone who thrives when managing competing demands without sacrificing attention to detail or interpersonal warmth. If you value operational excellence, strong communication, and building experiences that feel effortless from the family's perspective, this role provides genuine ownership and measurable influence.

What you will be doing

  • Answering inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and running admissions events, campus visits, and shadow day experiences for prospective students
  • Ensuring applicant records remain precise and current across admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to questions, and capture their feedback
  • Collaborating with campus staff and admissions leadership to ensure every family progresses smoothly through the process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Deciding which applicants are accepted or enrolled
  • Delivering classroom instruction or participating in day-to-day academic support
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or pre-written scripts
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, standards, or direction are ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create a trustworthy, effective admissions process that moves families from initial inquiry to informed enrollment with confidence.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Experience in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Prior involvement in coordinating admissions events or parent engagement programs
  • Ability to adapt quickly in evolving, technology-forward settings
