Description

  • On-site Miami · W2 · $100K/yr

You will be the person families recall when choosing where to enroll their child. From initial contact through final commitment, you define how Alpha is perceived, communicated, and experienced. This position is designed for someone who understands that responsiveness, precision, and genuine attention are not competing priorities—they define the baseline.

Alpha is changing the expectations around what school can deliver. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a coherent educational philosophy that honors both students and their families. Admissions is where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families approach us with curiosity, doubt, and optimism. Your responsibility is to transform hesitation into clarity and trust.

In this position, you oversee the admissions journey after a family expresses interest. You will address inquiries promptly and with professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow day experiences, keep applicant data current and accurate, and facilitate meaningful discussions that help parents evaluate whether Alpha aligns with their child's needs. This is not a support role conducted in the background. You are externally focused, detail-conscious, and directly responsible for how families perceive and interact with Alpha.

This is a demanding, campus-based role suited to someone who thrives managing concurrent responsibilities while maintaining both accuracy and empathy. If you value strong execution, clear communication, and building experiences that feel effortless from the family's perspective, this role provides meaningful autonomy and influence.

We seek someone who blends approachability with rigor, speed with sound judgment, and professionalism with authentic engagement. If this describes your approach, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to inquiries from prospective families within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's voice
  • Organizing and delivering admissions programming including campus tours, information sessions, and shadow day experiences
  • Ensuring applicant data remains accurate and current across CRM platforms and admissions management systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's model, respond to concerns, and capture their input
  • Collaborating with campus leadership and admissions colleagues to ensure each family progresses smoothly through the process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final decisions regarding admissions or enrollment
  • Delivering classroom instruction or participating in daily teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales approaches or following inflexible scripts
  • Working with paper-based processes or manually tracking physical application materials

Key responsibilities

Create and sustain a high-integrity, high-conversion admissions process that supports families from their first point of contact through to enrollment commitment.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in school admissions, enrollment operations, or independent school settings
  • Demonstrated success planning family-oriented events (information nights, open houses, shadow days) with documented participation results
  • Ease working within rapidly evolving, technology-forward environments
