Description

  • On-site Miami · W2 · $100K/yr

Families remember you when they choose where to enroll their child. You will guide them from initial inquiry through final enrollment, shaping how Alpha is experienced, communicated, and understood. This position is designed for someone who treats speed, precision, and genuine care as non-negotiable—not as competing priorities.

Alpha is transforming the definition of school. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-enhanced instruction, and a philosophy rooted in respect for students and their families. Admissions is where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families arrive curious, cautious, and optimistic. Your responsibility is to turn uncertainty into clarity and confidence.

You will oversee the admissions journey after families express interest. This includes answering inquiries promptly and with professionalism, organizing campus tours and shadow experiences, keeping applicant data meticulously organized, and conducting conversations that help parents assess whether Alpha's approach fits their child. This is a visible, externally focused role. You are detail-oriented, forward-facing, and directly responsible for the family experience at Alpha.

This is an on-campus, high-velocity position suited to someone who thrives when managing competing demands without sacrificing precision or warmth. If you value flawless execution, clear communication, and delivering experiences that feel effortless to families, this role provides meaningful ownership and influence.

We seek someone who blends warmth with accuracy, speed with sound judgment, and professionalism with authentic care. If this standard aligns with your approach, we encourage you to apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Replying to prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with communication that is clear, welcoming, and consistent with Alpha's values
  • Organizing and executing admissions activities including campus tours, open houses, and student shadow days
  • Keeping applicant records current and accurate across admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Engaging with families to present Alpha's educational model, respond to questions, and capture their feedback
  • Collaborating with campus and admissions leadership to ensure each family progresses smoothly through the pipeline

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final enrollment or admissions determinations
  • Delivering classroom instruction or participating in daily teaching
  • Employing aggressive sales techniques or scripted pitches
  • Working with paper-based admissions systems or manually tracking physical paperwork

Key responsibilities

Provide a high-trust, high-conversion admissions journey that supports families from initial inquiry to confident enrollment decision.

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers

  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Direct experience in school admissions, enrollment management, or independent school operations
  • Track record organizing parent-facing events (open houses, info sessions, shadow days) with measurable attendance outcomes
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
