Enrollment Specialist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

You are the person families think of when deciding where to enroll their child. From initial inquiry through final commitment, you define how Alpha feels, communicates, and fulfills its commitments. This position is designed for someone who understands that speed, precision, and personal care are not competing priorities—they are baseline expectations.

Alpha is reimagining what education can look like. Our campuses integrate academic excellence, technology-driven instruction, and a philosophy that honors both students and their families. Admissions is where that philosophy becomes tangible. Families approach us with curiosity, doubt, and hope. Your responsibility is to turn uncertainty into clarity and confidence.

In this position, you own the admissions journey once a family expresses interest. You will answer family questions promptly and with professionalism, organize campus tours and shadow day experiences, keep applicant data accurate and current, and conduct meaningful conversations that help parents evaluate whether Alpha's approach aligns with their child's needs. This is not a support role in the background. You are client-facing, process-oriented, and directly responsible for how families perceive and experience Alpha.

This is an on-site, high-velocity role suited to someone who thrives while managing competing demands without sacrificing accuracy or interpersonal warmth. If you value flawless execution, clear communication, and building experiences that feel effortless to those you serve, this role provides genuine ownership and measurable influence.

What you will be doing

  • Answering prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with communication that is clear, inviting, and consistent with Alpha's voice
  • Organizing and executing admissions programming, including campus tours and student shadow experiences
  • Keeping applicant records accurate and current across admissions platforms and CRM systems
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational model, respond to concerns, and capture their input
  • Collaborating continuously with campus and admissions leadership to ensure every family progresses smoothly through the pipeline

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making final decisions on admissions or enrollment
  • Delivering classroom instruction or participating in daily teaching activities
  • Relying on aggressive sales methods or prescriptive messaging templates
  • Operating in a setting where expectations, standards, or direction are ambiguous

Key responsibilities

Create a credible, conversion-focused admissions process that supports families from initial outreach through confident enrollment decisions.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience in admissions, customer service, or a family-facing operations role
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience using a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated data accuracy
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Availability to work on-campus in Miami, FL, or willingness to relocate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or parent-facing programs
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
