Curriculum Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is for professionals who believe education must operate with greater speed, precision, and measurable accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses the workload that traditional schools distribute across a full day into concentrated, results-driven learning sessions. Success depends on academic decisions that are accurate, timely, and fully owned. This position exists to make those decisions: converting raw student performance data into actionable strategy while delivering direct, high-confidence coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where data insight meets personal engagement. In one instance, you're interpreting performance metrics to identify risk early and support placements with sound rationale. In the next, you're working directly with a student, diagnosing misunderstanding on the spot and guiding them forward before minor issues escalate into meaningful setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation or documentation. You are responsible for measurable outcomes.

This position suits individuals who seek immediate, visible results from their efforts. If you value ownership, prefer direct student engagement, and are motivated by enabling students to learn at twice the rate through smarter decision-making, this environment will resonate with you.

Consider applying if you want your contributions to produce tangible results within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Evaluate student performance metrics to generate precise, action-oriented academic summaries that enable timely interventions
  • Assume full accountability for academic progress within a designated student cohort, covering placement strategy, assessment decisions, and corrective follow-up
  • Lead focused academic intervention sessions designed to uncover root issues and eliminate learning obstacles in real time
  • Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish actual knowledge deficits from execution errors, assigning focused remediation tasks
  • Coordinate with academic leadership and family support teams to flag emerging risks and refine existing tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused or unactionable
  • Operating exclusively in the background without any direct student contact
  • Delegating academic responsibility to instructors, tutors, or families
  • Facilitating broad tutoring sessions lacking clear diagnostic intent
  • Delaying response to student challenges by weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, prompt academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning velocity for your assigned cohort.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, teaching, or training capacity with documented results or verifiable feedback
  • Minimum 1 year of substantive, direct experience working with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this criterion)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student services combining analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
  • Fluency in spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookup functions, filtering, pivot tables, and data visualization
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence with the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and families
  • Demonstrated application of AI tools to analyze datasets or streamline workflows with quantifiable productivity improvements
