Admissions Relationship Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Unlike most enrollment positions designed to maximize volume, this role is designed to preserve quality.

Alpha is constructing a school model that ranks among the most ambitious globally. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, with measurable evidence supporting these outcomes. Afternoon hours are dedicated to in-depth exploration, independent work, and practical competency development. The model delivers results. However, success depends entirely on selecting the right families.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment cycle for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This position does not involve handoffs. You are accountable for the family's experience, their comprehension of the model, and ensuring enrollment choices are made for sound reasons. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not filling seats. The objective is achieving alignment.

We welcome candidates from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly managed high-value client relationships from beginning to end. What counts is your capacity to execute a sophisticated, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability.

If your professional background involves delivering exceptional service where reputation depends on trust, discretion, and experience quality, this role will be recognizable territory—applied to work that genuinely drives outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Orange County, Roswell, Chicago, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial engagement through onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating exploratory conversations to assess compatibility before proposing solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Tracking 20+ concurrent family relationships across various enrollment stages, maintaining clear documentation of status and required follow-ups.
  • Delivering campus tours, student shadow experiences, and enrollment decision meetings that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Keeping HubSpot CRM and student information system records current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment purely to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Handing off family relationship ownership to other personnel.
  • Operating remotely. This position is campus-based by necessity.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that successfully enrolls well-matched families while safeguarding the quality and effectiveness of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly shapes brand perception (education, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or independently owned services).
  • Proven ownership of complete client, admissions, or enrollment processes from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Track record managing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships concurrently across different stages, using a reliable system for tracking and prioritization.
  • Capacity to supply specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your offering when fit was poor.
  • Professional writing experience communicating with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Orange County, CA; Roswell, GA; Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
  • Work authorization in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Experience in high-end hospitality, VIP client services, or executive support functions.
  • Track record developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service standards.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
