Enrollment Coordinator   $100,000 USD/year

Description

As the primary contact for families considering Alpha, you will shape the first impression that determines where a child begins their educational path. Each email you craft, event you execute, and discussion you facilitate will directly influence whether a family commits to Alpha. This position is intended for individuals who prioritize accuracy, timeliness, and authentic relationship-building, recognizing that trust develops through deliberate and careful execution.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most forward-thinking school frameworks. Our locations combine demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. The admissions function is where this vision becomes tangible. Families seek more than basic details. They seek understanding, assurance, and proof that Alpha differentiates itself in substantive ways.

You will oversee the complete experience for prospective families starting from their initial contact. Your work includes timely and considered responses, coordination of campus visits and shadow experiences, upkeep of precise applicant information, and guiding parents in understanding how Alpha functions and whether it matches their aspirations. This is a prominent, people-centered role in which you hold direct influence over enrollment outcomes.

This on-campus position in San Francisco operates at a quick tempo and requires someone capable of balancing several concurrent priorities with precision and attentiveness. If you find satisfaction in transparent communication, dependable execution, and supporting families toward well-reasoned decisions, this role provides meaningful autonomy and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Addressing inquiries from prospective families within a 24-hour window using precise, professional language that reflects Alpha's standards
  • Designing and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and shadow visit experiences, managing all aspects from planning through follow-up
  • Ensuring comprehensive and error-free applicant data across CRM systems and admissions tools
  • Conducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's educational approach, respond to their concerns, and document key information
  • Partnering with campus staff and admissions team members to support a streamlined and effective admissions process

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rendering final admissions judgments or shaping enrollment policies
  • Delivering instruction or managing academic curriculum
  • Employing aggressive sales methods or formulaic messaging
  • Working within a disorganized or slow-paced setting

Key responsibilities

Provide a cohesive, high-conversion admissions journey that turns early curiosity into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel educated, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • At least 1 year of professional written communication experience with families or customers
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a CRM, student information system, or comparable database with demonstrated attention to data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
