Education Outreach Coordinator   $40,000 USD/year

Description

Success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with a parent within the opening moments of a conversation. This position is designed for someone who thrives on outreach, maintains disciplined follow-up, and can articulate a new learning model confidently without depending on prepared scripts. If you tend to avoid phone-based interaction or prefer work without measurable performance indicators, this will not align with your strengths.

Novatio School operates as a tuition-free virtual public charter school that serves students through a distinctive educational model. Students engage in core academic work during a concentrated time block supported by AI-driven learning tools, then dedicate the remainder of their day to developing practical skills via projects and enrichment activities. Your function is to serve as the first substantive contact for families considering this educational path.

Your weekly responsibilities include responding promptly to new inquiries, shepherding families through the admissions pathway, and advancing them from initial curiosity to completed enrollment. You will also serve as a representative of Novatio School at community events to cultivate new leads and increase local visibility. During periods when enrollment activity decreases, you will support broader school operations while remaining prepared for upcoming admissions cycles.

If you are looking for a position where your communication skills, follow-through discipline, and personal accountability directly influence student enrollment outcomes, we would like to speak with you.

What you will be doing

  • Reaching out to new inbound leads within a 24-hour window and opening admissions discussions via phone
  • Describing Novatio School's virtual educational structure and enrollment procedures using straightforward, accessible language
  • Maintaining systematic follow-up to advance families from initial inquiry through application completion to enrollment
  • Recording all engagement in a CRM with precise notes, identified next actions, and current pipeline status
  • Planning and conducting local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to introduce the school and collect new prospective family contacts

What you will NOT be doing

  • Allowing inbound leads to remain uncontacted while you focus on administrative tasks
  • Relying on inflexible scripts or functioning in a high-volume call center style
  • Participating in events without actively presenting or proactively generating leads
  • Dedicating most of your time to back-office tasks during periods of active enrollment demand

Key responsibilities

Transform new family interest into qualified, well-informed applicants who successfully complete enrollment at Novatio School.

Candidate requirements

  • Located in Texas or Arizona with availability to work in a hybrid capacity
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service or another role involving direct customer interaction
  • Experience working with children or families in settings such as schools, camps, childcare, tutoring, or comparable environments
  • Comfortable initiating frequent phone calls and guiding families through processes with multiple steps
  • Strong verbal communication abilities with the capacity to establish trust rapidly
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or digital tools for lead tracking

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, or roles focused on lead qualification
  • Experience organizing or delivering presentations at community events or outreach initiatives
  • Coursework or professional background in communications, education, or a related discipline
