Description

Alpha Waypoint is redefining the school experience. Using an outdoor, experience-based approach, students develop independence, resilience, and practical competence while achieving strong academic results.

This position involves supporting families throughout the inquiry and enrollment journey, ensuring that every touchpoint demonstrates clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism. You will handle daily communications, organize admissions activities, and keep precise records that enable sound decision-making. Details and consistent follow-through define this role.

Your work will span both remote and on-site environments, helping families navigate a model distinct from conventional schooling. Clear communication, organizational discipline, and your ability to deliver a seamless experience will have a direct effect on enrollment outcomes and family confidence.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox, providing prompt, clear, and professional responses to prospective families
  • Lead families through the admissions pathway with reliable follow-up and clearly defined next steps
  • Facilitate and execute admissions programming, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus personnel to arrange student visits and deliver a seamless experience
  • Keep admissions data current and accurate, tracking all applications and outreach activities

What you will NOT be doing

  • Functioning in an isolated, administrative role with no direct family engagement
  • Working within a slow-moving or overly procedural system
  • Prioritizing outreach without delivering strong execution and accountability
  • Shaping admissions policy or making final decisions on student enrollment

Key responsibilities

Deliver a clear, responsive, and effectively managed admissions process that drives enrollment success and builds positive family relationships.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
