Enrollment Associate   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Alpha Waypoint is redefining the traditional school experience. Through an experience-driven, outdoor model, students develop resilience, independence, and practical capability while achieving strong academic results.

This role involves supporting families throughout the inquiry and enrollment journey, with every touchpoint reflecting professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness. You will handle daily communications, organize admissions activities, and keep precise records that enable sound decision-making. Details and consistent follow-through define success in this position.

Your work will span both digital and on-site environments, introducing families to an educational model distinct from conventional schooling. Clear communication, organizational discipline, and your ability to deliver a seamless experience will have a direct effect on enrollment outcomes and the trust families place in the school.

If you take ownership of results, prioritize responsiveness, and value precision, this position provides a chance to support a mission-focused, growing school while strengthening your operational and communication expertise.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox, providing timely, professional, and clear responses to prospective families
  • Lead families through each stage of the admissions process with structured follow-up and defined next steps
  • Plan and execute admissions events such as information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus teams to arrange student visits and deliver a seamless experience
  • Keep admissions records current and accurate, tracking every application and follow-up interaction

What you will NOT be doing

  • Operating solely in a back-office capacity with no direct family engagement
  • Working within a slow-moving or heavily bureaucratic structure
  • Handling communication alone without strong execution or follow-through
  • Setting admissions strategy or making final decisions on enrollment

Key responsibilities

Deliver a responsive, clear, and well-coordinated admissions experience that strengthens enrollment and builds positive outcomes for families.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
