Campus Logistics Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This in-person role is located on our Chantilly, VA campus.

You are the person who makes everything work. When a campus runs smoothly, students feel safe, staff stay focused, and parents trust the school. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because someone is quietly orchestrating hundreds of details every day—and doing it with clarity, urgency, and care.

Alpha is building one of the most ambitious school models in the world. We combine rigorous academics, technology-enabled learning, and high expectations for students and adults alike. This role exists to ensure the non-academic side of the campus operates at the same standard as our classrooms.

In this role, you own the operational heartbeat of the campus. You are responsible for community communication, campus safety, facilities and logistics, and day-to-day tech administration. One moment you may be coordinating a safety drill, the next resolving a device issue, onboarding a new staff member, or addressing a parent concern. You are not just keeping things running—you are creating confidence.

This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in delivering a high bar of service. If you want work where your decisions directly affect student well-being, staff effectiveness, and parent trust, this role offers real ownership and impact.

What you will be doing

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for parents, students, and staff, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication
  • Managing campus safety operations, including access control, health incidents, drills, documentation, and parent communication
  • Overseeing daily campus operations such as attendance processes, facilities coordination, transportation, and office logistics
  • Supporting onboarding and training for new staff to ensure smooth integration into campus operations
  • Managing student devices and campus technology, acting as the primary on-site tech liaison and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching classes or managing academic instruction
  • Coaching Guides or leading curriculum development
  • Working in a narrow, single-function administrative role
  • Sitting behind a desk with predictable, repetitive tasks
  • Passing problems along without ownership or resolution

Key responsibilities

Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient campus operations that consistently improve the experience and satisfaction of students, staff, and parents.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role
  • Comfort with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage parents, staff, students, and vendors professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
