Enrollment Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

Alpha Waypoint is redefining the school experience. Using an outdoor, experience-based approach, students develop independence, resilience, and practical skills while achieving strong academic results.

This role places you at the center of the family journey, from initial contact through completed enrollment. You will ensure that every touchpoint demonstrates clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism. Your responsibilities include managing daily communications, organizing admissions activities, and keeping precise records that enable sound decision-making. In this position, attention to detail and consistent follow-through are essential.

You will operate in both remote and on-site environments, helping families navigate a model that diverges from conventional schooling. Your capacity to communicate effectively, maintain organization, and deliver a seamless experience will have a direct effect on enrollment success and family confidence.

If you are exceptionally responsive, detail-focused, and accountable for results, this role provides the chance to support a mission-driven school in growth while developing strong operational and interpersonal capabilities.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox to deliver prompt, clear, and professional responses to prospective families
  • Lead families through each stage of the admissions journey with reliable follow-up and organized guidance
  • Facilitate and coordinate admissions events such as information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus teams to arrange student visits and deliver a seamless family experience
  • Keep admissions records current and accurate, tracking all applications and ongoing communications

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working exclusively in administrative roles with no direct family engagement
  • Functioning within slow-moving or heavily bureaucratic structures
  • Prioritizing communication alone without delivering strong execution and accountability
  • Developing admissions strategy or making final enrollment determinations

Key responsibilities

Deliver a clear, responsive, and well-coordinated admissions experience that drives enrollment strength and fosters positive family relationships.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
