Description

Alpha Waypoint is redefining the school experience. Using an outdoor, experiential approach, students develop resilience, independence, and practical skills while achieving strong academic results.

This role involves supporting families throughout the inquiry and enrollment journey, ensuring every touchpoint demonstrates professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness. You will oversee daily communication, organize admissions-related events, and keep accurate records that enable informed decision-making. Here, precision and accountability are essential.

You will operate in both remote and on-site environments, helping families grasp a model distinct from conventional schooling. Your capacity to communicate effectively, maintain organization, and deliver a seamless experience will have a direct influence on enrollment success and family confidence.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, clear, and professional responses to prospective families
  • Shepherd families through each stage of the admissions process with reliable follow-up and clearly defined next steps
  • Facilitate and execute admissions events, such as information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings
  • Collaborate with campus staff to arrange student visits and deliver a seamless experience
  • Keep admissions records current and precise, tracking all applications and outreach activities

What you will NOT be doing

  • Functioning solely in an administrative capacity without direct family engagement
  • Working within a slow-moving or heavily bureaucratic system
  • Concentrating exclusively on communication without demonstrated execution and completion
  • Formulating admissions strategy or rendering final enrollment determinations

Key responsibilities

Deliver a clear, responsive, and professionally managed admissions experience that drives enrollment and fosters positive family outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing or operations-focused experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and experience managing records or CRM systems
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Comfortable balancing remote work with in-person event responsibilities
  • Authorized to work in the US and able to attend in-person campus events

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions, education, or enrollment operations
  • Background supporting events or high-touch customer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Appreciation for outdoor, experiential, or non-traditional learning models, with the ability to communicate that value naturally to families
