LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at one of our school campuses.
Many schools hide operations behind closed doors, committee meetings, and multiple approval chains. Alpha takes a different approach. This role requires full visibility throughout the day: welcoming families at the door, resolving technology problems, managing smooth arrivals and departures, addressing parent concerns, liaising with vendors, and ensuring the campus environment reflects Alpha's standards of safety and excellence.
We need someone who can combine approachability with professionalism, structure with initiative, and confidence with hands-on execution. You will manage nearly all non-instructional operations: family communications, attendance systems, campus security, facility oversight, meal coordination, technology devices, school events, and the minor issues that escalate quickly without prompt attention.
You will not be surrounded by a large on-site operations staff. Instead, you will work with operational guides, remote technical support, and established protocols—but you must learn quickly, leverage available resources, and exercise sound judgment independently. The long-term benefit is becoming the reliable presence families depend on, the resource guides turn to, and the approachable adult students seek out when problems arise.

What you will be doing
- Serve as the primary, trusted contact for parents, students, staff members, and campus visitors, maintaining clear, composed, and responsive communication.
- Oversee daily campus operations, including morning arrival, afternoon dismissal, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, lunch logistics, campus cleanliness, event execution, and facilities maintenance follow-through.
- Address campus safety and student welfare matters, including entry control, emergency drills, health-related incidents, record-keeping, and timely parent communication.
- Coordinate student technology devices and basic campus IT functions, including device configuration, user account assistance, issue diagnosis, data backups, repair logistics, and escalation to centralized technical teams.
- Cultivate trust with Guides, external vendors, and families by prioritizing helpfulness without compromising established standards.
What you will NOT be doing
- Working from a back office while others manage parent interactions and student-facing responsibilities.
- Delivering classroom instruction, mentoring Guides, or developing academic curriculum.
- Deferring every decision to a supervisor before taking action.
- Managing campus operations through extended meeting schedules when immediate answers are needed.
- Delegating facilities, devices, vendor coordination, or meal services as outside your scope.

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
- At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles
- Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
