In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, making sure that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, approachability, and excellence. You will manage daily correspondence, organize impactful admissions activities, and keep detailed applicant data that supports sound decision-making.

If you excel in a dynamic, purpose-focused setting—where responsiveness, structure, and accuracy have a direct effect on family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid opportunity provides both remote flexibility and consistent face-to-face participation in admissions activities.

What you will be doing

Take full ownership of the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and polished responses to prospective families (both online and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous care for accuracy

Attend all admissions events, such as information sessions, shadow visits, and community gatherings, whether held on campus or virtually

  • Set admissions policy or determine final acceptance outcomes
  • Function in an entirely back-office capacity with no direct family contact
  • Work within a sluggish, heavily procedural organization
  • Emphasize relationship development without disciplined execution and follow-through

Key responsibilities

This role ensures that a smooth, conversion-optimized admissions process produces robust enrollment and high family satisfaction throughout Alpha's locations.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and precise
  • Strong attention to detail and background in maintaining accurate applicant databases or CRM systems
  • Comfortable managing both remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
  • Able to adjust rapidly and succeed in a fast-moving, mission-focused setting
  • Authorized to work in the US and available for in-person work in NYC; based in NY or willing to relocate

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in education, enrollment operations, or school administration
  • History of facilitating admissions events or detailed onboarding workflows
  • Ease working in rapidly evolving, technology-driven organizations
