Director of Enrollment Management   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Unlike most enrollment positions designed to maximize volume, this role is designed to safeguard standards.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academics with technology-enabled learning and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely achieve learning velocity that exceeds national benchmarks—a claim supported by measurable data. Afternoon hours are dedicated to depth work, independent study, and development of real-world competencies. The model delivers results. However, its success depends entirely on enrolling aligned families. That is your responsibility.

You will control the complete admissions process for a campus, beginning with the application and ending with enrollment. This is not a coordination role. You are accountable for the family experience, the clarity with which they understand our model, and the soundness of their enrollment decision. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate substantive dialogue, and recommend decline when appropriate. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is mission alignment.

We welcome candidates from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have independently managed high-stakes client relationships from start to finish. What is essential is your capacity to execute a high-touch, phased process with sound judgment, precision, and accountability. If your career has been defined by delivering white-glove service where trust, discretion, and experiential quality are brand-defining, this role will be intuitive. Apply now to bring that caliber of service to work with lasting impact.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of the enrollment lifecycle for prospective families, from initial outreach through onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating needs-based discovery conversations to evaluate fit prior to solution presentation or pathway recommendations.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment stages, maintaining transparent tracking of status and follow-up actions.
  • Orchestrating campus visits, shadow day experiences, and decision-stage discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensuring CRM accuracy and enrollment data integrity (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, strategic prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methodologies.
  • Admitting families who lack alignment in order to meet numerical targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or working through multilayered approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing ownership of the family journey across multiple functional roles.
  • Operating remotely. This position is campus-based by intentional design.

Key responsibilities

Deliver and manage a high-trust, highly selective enrollment process that successfully converts mission-aligned families while preserving the integrity and academic performance of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand integrity (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or entrepreneurial service operations).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Track record managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships across multiple stages, supported by a documented tracking and prioritization system.
  • Capacity to offer specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your own offering when fit was poor.
  • Professional written correspondence experience with senior executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Oklahoma City, OK, Tulsa, OK, or Southlake, TX.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in selective private school admissions or competitive program recruitment.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.
  • History of developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely conversion speed.
