Director of Member Services   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most admissions positions prioritize throughput. This position prioritizes alignment.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most sophisticated school models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academic programs, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and educators. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks—the outcomes are measurable. Afternoons shift toward depth, autonomy, and practical competency development. The model is effective. But it requires the right families. That's your responsibility.

You will lead the complete admissions experience for a campus, beginning with application and concluding with enrollment. This is not a coordination role. You are accountable for the family's impression of us, the clarity with which they grasp our approach, and the soundness of enrollment decisions. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when warranted. The objective is not enrollment volume. The objective is strategic fit.

We welcome candidates from high-end service sectors beyond conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, senior executive support, elite membership institutions, or entrepreneurs who have directly stewarded premium client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to orchestrate a sophisticated, phased process with discernment, precision, and execution. If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experiential quality define the organization, this role will resonate. Apply now to elevate that discipline within work of significance.

What you will be doing

  • Leading the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial engagement through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating diagnostic conversations to evaluate compatibility before proposing solutions or advising on pathways forward.
  • Stewarding 20+ concurrent family engagements at varying process stages, with transparent tracking and timely follow-through.
  • Directing campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment discussions that articulate results, commitments, and the families for whom the model is designed.
  • Ensuring precision in CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, workflow prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Deploying transactional or aggressive enrollment methods.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment in order to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Supervising a sizable team or operating within complex organizational hierarchies.
  • Handing off responsibility for the family journey across multiple functions.
  • Performing this role remotely. The position is campus-based by intention.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-integrity, high-selectivity enrollment process that attracts aligned families while safeguarding the rigor and outcomes of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service caliber directly shapes organizational reputation (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, exclusive membership, or proprietor-led service businesses).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment cycle from initial inquiry through integration.
  • Track record of concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family interactions at distinct stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization framework.
  • Capacity to share specific instances of advisory decision-making, including instances where you counseled against your offering when misaligned.
  • Professional correspondence experience with C-suite executives, affluent clients, or discerning stakeholders.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Denver, CO; or Park City, UT.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in selective independent school admissions or competitive program intake.
  • Professional history in luxury hospitality, VIP concierge services, or executive-level administrative roles.
  • Experience designing or optimizing enrollment workflows, operational standards, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM intelligence to enhance enrollment quality, not merely velocity.
