Head of Admissions   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Unlike most enrollment positions designed to maximize volume, this role is built to uphold rigorous standards.

Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses combine rigorous academics with technology-enabled learning and high expectations for both students and staff. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons are dedicated to depth, independence, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends entirely on selecting the right families.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role where responsibility is passed between teams. You own how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions are made with genuine alignment. You will evaluate fit, facilitate meaningful discussions, and recommend against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is mutual alignment.

We welcome candidates from premium service sectors outside traditional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive client management, premium membership services, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with sound judgment, clarity, and reliable follow-through.

If your career has been defined by white-glove service where trust, discretion, and experience quality are central to the brand, this role will be intuitive—simply applied to work that meaningfully changes lives.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are hiring for Seattle and Park City. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-assessment discussions to establish fit before offering solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships at varying enrollment stages, with transparent tracking of status and follow-up actions.
  • Guiding campus tours, shadow visits, and enrollment conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and the intended audience for the model.
  • Ensuring accurate CRM and enrollment data (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Admitting families who lack alignment simply to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a large team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Handing off ownership of the family relationship to other departments.
  • Operating remotely. This is an on-campus role by necessity.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-trust, high-selectivity enrollment process that successfully enrolls aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and outcomes of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, customized service in settings where service quality has a direct impact on brand reputation (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated client services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial inquiry through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships at varying stages, supported by a clear tracking and prioritization framework.
  • Capacity to share specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your service or product when fit was insufficient.
  • Professional writing experience communicating with senior executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to Seattle, WA, or Park City, UT.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in selective private school admissions or competitive program recruitment.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level support functions.
  • Track record building or improving enrollment workflows, service standards, or operational procedures.
  • Ability to leverage data and CRM insights to enhance conversion quality, not merely velocity.
