Director of Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

While most enrollment positions focus on maximizing volume, this role is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing a school model of exceptional ambition. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Student learning consistently outpaces national averages, validated by measurable outcomes. Afternoons are structured for deeper exploration, independent work, and practical skill development. The model is effective. But effectiveness depends on enrolling the right families. That responsibility falls to you.

You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, spanning initial application to final enrollment. This is not a role where you hand off responsibility. You determine how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with proper understanding. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not filling seats. The objective is ensuring fit.

We welcome candidates from high-end service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, premium hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen valuable client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a personalized, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparency, and consistent follow-through. If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where trust, professionalism, and experience quality establish the brand, this role will resonate. Apply now to apply that standard to meaningful work.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, beginning with initial outreach and concluding with onboarding.
  • Facilitating exploratory conversations to evaluate compatibility before offering solutions or advancing to subsequent steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, maintaining transparent tracking of progress and required actions.
  • Directing campus visits, student shadow days, and decision-stage discussions that articulate outcomes, requirements, and the ideal candidate profile for the model.
  • Ensuring precision in CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, priority management, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment simply to achieve enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or navigating complex hierarchical approvals.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple functions.
  • Operating remotely. This position requires on-campus presence.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a trust-centered, highly selective enrollment process that secures alignment with the right families while safeguarding the reputation and effectiveness of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing high-touch, customized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, premium hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership, or independently operated services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment lifecycle from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts at varied stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization method.
  • Capacity to offer specific examples of consultative judgment, including situations where you advised against your offering because it was not appropriate.
  • Professional written correspondence experience with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Prepared to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Denver, CO; or Park City, UT.
  • Authorized for employment in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in competitive independent school admissions or selective program recruitment.
  • Background in premium hospitality, VIP client services, or executive support functions.
  • Experience designing or improving enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
