Director of Enrollment Management   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Most enrollment positions are designed to drive numbers. This role is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is developing one of the most forward-thinking school models globally. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable evidence. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, autonomy, and practical competency development. The model is effective. But effectiveness depends entirely on enrolling the right families.

This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a handoff function. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with the right understanding. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is mutual alignment.

We welcome applicants from high-end service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive programs, luxury service industries, senior-level client relations, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen premium client experiences from beginning to end. What counts is your capability to execute a personalized, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparency, and accountability.

If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where confidence, professionalism, and experience quality represent the brand identity, this position will be recognizable—simply directed toward work that genuinely influences student outcomes.

This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Greenwich, Boca Ratan, Palm Beach, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Chantilly. Relocation assistance is provided.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through full onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-based discussions to assess compatibility before offering recommendations or outlining subsequent actions.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various stages of enrollment, with transparent tracking of progress and follow-up requirements.
  • Delivering campus tours, student shadow visits, and decision-oriented meetings that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Sustaining precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, strategic prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Applying transactional or aggressive sales approaches.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment purely to meet enrollment targets.
  • Supervising a substantial team or working through complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple personnel.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Lead and deliver a high-integrity, high-selectivity enrollment process that successfully converts well-matched families while safeguarding the credibility and effectiveness of the Alpha educational model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or owner-operated services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships across varied stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization method.
  • Capacity to furnish specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your product or service due to poor fit.
  • Professional written correspondence experience with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of the following markets: Greenwich, CT; Boca Ratan, FL; Palm Beach, FL; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; or Chantilly, VA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment.
  • Background in premium hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level relationship management.
  • Experience developing or optimizing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service delivery standards.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM intelligence to enhance conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
