Director of Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

This enrollment role is not designed to maximize volume. It exists to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing a school model of exceptional ambition. Each campus integrates demanding academics, technology-enabled learning, and elevated expectations for both students and educators. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons shift focus toward depth, autonomy, and the cultivation of practical skills. The model is proven. But its success depends entirely on enrolling aligned families. Your role centers on that outcome.

You will direct the complete admissions process for a campus, beginning with application and concluding with enrollment. This is a role defined by ownership, not handoffs. You are accountable for the family experience, the clarity with which the model is communicated, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. Maximum enrollment is not the objective. Alignment is.

We welcome candidates from premium service backgrounds outside traditional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, executive hospitality, high-level client support, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurs who have personally directed high-value client experiences from start to finish. What matters most is your capacity to execute a sophisticated, multi-phase engagement with discernment, precision, and accountability. If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experience quality shape the brand, this position will resonate. Apply now to apply that caliber to meaningful work.

What you will be doing

  • Directing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, spanning initial contact to onboarding completion.
  • Facilitating needs-based conversations to establish compatibility before proposing solutions or advising on next actions.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varied enrollment phases, maintaining transparent tracking and timely follow-through.
  • Guiding campus visits, shadow day experiences, and enrollment dialogues that articulate outcomes, standards, and model suitability with clarity.
  • Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting accuracy, strategic prioritization, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive sales methods.
  • Enrolling incompatible families to satisfy enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing a sizable team or navigating complex approval hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple departments.
  • Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based.

Key responsibilities

Direct and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that successfully onboards families who align with the mission while safeguarding the standards and efficacy of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence is essential to brand integrity (education, executive hospitality, senior-level support, exclusive membership environments, or owner-managed client services).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment lifecycle from initial engagement through final onboarding.
  • Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts at various stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization framework.
  • Capacity to present specific instances of consultative judgment, including occasions when you recommended against your offering due to poor fit.
  • Track record of professional written correspondence with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Oklahoma City, OK, Tulsa, OK, or Southlake, TX.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive private school admissions or enrollment for selective programs.
  • Experience in executive hospitality, VIP client services, or senior leadership support.
  • History of designing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to elevate conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
