Director of Enrollment   $200,000 USD/year

Description

While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this role is designed to uphold standards.

Alpha is constructing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled learning, and elevated expectations for both students and staff. Students routinely progress faster than national benchmarks, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons are dedicated to depth, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends on enrolling the right families. This is your responsibility.

You will manage the complete admissions process for a campus, spanning initial application to final enrollment. This is not a role where you hand off responsibility. You own how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure fit.

We welcome candidates from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurs who have directly managed high-value client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability. If you have built your career delivering exceptional service where trust, discretion, and experience quality define the brand, this position will resonate. Apply now to bring that caliber to meaningful work.

What you will be doing

  • Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial outreach through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating needs-based conversations to evaluate compatibility before proposing solutions or advising on next steps.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across varying enrollment stages, maintaining clear tracking of status and follow-up actions.
  • Directing campus tours, student shadow visits, and decision-oriented meetings that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Ensuring accurate CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, prioritization, and sustained service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or high-pressure sales methods.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment simply to meet enrollment targets.
  • Supervising a large team or navigating complex approval hierarchies.
  • Transferring ownership of the family experience across multiple roles.
  • Operating remotely. This position is campus-based by necessity.

Key responsibilities

Own and deliver a high-trust, highly selective enrollment process that attracts aligned families while safeguarding the integrity and outcomes of the Alpha model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or owner-operated services).
  • Proven ownership of a full-cycle client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial contact through onboarding completion.
  • Experience managing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships concurrently at varying stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization system.
  • Capacity to share specific examples of consultative decision-making, including instances where you advised against your product or service due to poor fit.
  • Professional written communication proficiency with senior leaders, high-net-worth individuals, or discerning clients.
  • Readiness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these markets: Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Atlanta, GA; or Boston, MA.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in admissions for selective private schools or competitive enrollment programs.
  • Background in high-end hospitality, VIP guest relations, or executive-level support positions.
  • Experience developing or optimizing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks.
  • Comfort leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion quality, not merely pace.
