Description

Most admissions functions are designed for volume. This one is designed to safeguard quality.

Alpha is developing a school model of exceptional ambition. Our campuses integrate rigorous academic expectations, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated standards for both students and educators. Students advance at rates that exceed national norms, and the results are measurable. Afternoons are reserved for deeper exploration, autonomy, and applied skill development. The model is effective. But effectiveness depends entirely on the right families. That is your mandate.

You will direct the complete admissions process for a campus, beginning with application and concluding with enrollment. This is not a role defined by handoffs. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions rest on sound reasoning. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed dialogue, and advise against enrollment when circumstances warrant it. The objective is not enrollment volume. The objective is strategic alignment.

We welcome candidates from premium service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, selective admissions programs, luxury hospitality, executive client management, high-end membership institutions, or entrepreneurial operators who have personally guided high-stakes client experiences from inception to completion. What is essential is your capacity to execute a refined, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability. If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where trust, professionalism, and experiential quality define reputation, this role will be a natural extension. Apply now to apply that discipline to mission-driven work.

What you will be doing

  • Directing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial outreach through final onboarding.
  • Facilitating consultative conversations to assess alignment before proposing pathways or advising on enrollment.
  • Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varied enrollment stages, with disciplined tracking and follow-up protocols.
  • Conducting campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and ideal candidate profiles with clarity.
  • Sustaining precise CRM and enrollment documentation (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, priority management, and service excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Employing transactional or aggressive closing strategies.
  • Accepting families who lack alignment in order to meet enrollment targets.
  • Overseeing large teams or navigating multi-layered decision hierarchies.
  • Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple functions.
  • Operating remotely. This position is campus-based and requires in-person presence.

Key responsibilities

Direct and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that secures the right families while preserving the rigor and outcomes of the Alpha educational model.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service caliber directly influences brand integrity (education, luxury hospitality, executive client services, premium membership models, or owner-led service businesses).
  • Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment lifecycle from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family engagements across multiple stages, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization approach.
  • Capacity to present specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you counseled against your own offering when fit was lacking.
  • Professional-level written communication with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
  • Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Atlanta, GA; or Boston, MA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in selective independent school admissions or competitive program enrollment.
  • Professional experience in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive support environments.
  • Track record of developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
  • Proficiency leveraging data and CRM platforms to enhance enrollment quality, not merely conversion speed.
