Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is a full-time, in-person position at our New York City campus.

Frustrated by conventional schools that limit student growth? Alpha is redefining education for learners who exceed traditional classroom expectations. We need a results-oriented operator to create streamlined, orderly, high-performance systems that enable outstanding learning—day in and day out.

Alpha is not a standard private school. We deliver demanding academics paired with practical skills and a validated 2-Hour Learning methodology that accelerates student progress beyond conventional grade-level pacing. In this position, you serve as the operational foundation of our campus: you control the daily rhythm, safeguard focused learning time, and maintain precision across every function so Guides can mentor without interruption. You will manage safety protocols, facility operations, and foundational technology administration while cultivating a supportive, high-expectation environment for students and their families.

If you excel at clear systems, rapid problem resolution, and measurable outcomes, this role is designed for you. You will create a campus environment that feels purposeful, efficient, and motivating—where academic drive is recognized and self-reliance is developed. Join us to build a school where ambitious students advance faster, develop resilience, and demonstrate leadership.

What you will be doing

  • Managing comprehensive daily campus operations to ensure the 2-Hour Learning schedule runs on time and without disruption.
  • Handling first-level technology support (device configuration, rapid troubleshooting) and coordinating escalated issues with IT teams.
  • Establishing credibility with students, families, and colleagues through precise communication and reliable execution.
  • Executing and monitoring campus safety procedures; administering drills, incident documentation, and vendor relationships.
  • Facilitating critical functions—events, staff onboarding, supply and facility management—to maintain a consistently high operational standard.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering academic instruction or designing curriculum; Guides provide student mentorship while you ensure operational precision.
  • Operating from a remote office with limited impact; your contributions directly enhance student progress and family satisfaction.
  • Spending time on low-value tasks unrelated to accelerated learning; every responsibility connects to speed, safety, or excellence.

Key responsibilities

Lead comprehensive campus operations to ensure our site functions on schedule, to standard, and at a level that supports faster learning and superior family experience.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • 1+ years managing complex operations in education, events, hospitality, or a comparable high-service setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain composed under pressure, exercise initiative, and handle competing priorities autonomously.
  • Proficiency with basic IT troubleshooting and Google Workspace administration.
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication that fosters community confidence.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and available to work on-site in NYC, NY.
