Student Success Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for individuals who believe education must operate with greater speed, precision, and accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses traditional full-day instruction into concentrated, results-driven learning sessions. Success depends on making academic decisions that are accurate, timely, and fully owned from start to finish. This position exists to deliver that: converting complex student data into executable action while providing direct, trust-based coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate at the nexus of data analysis and interpersonal engagement. In one instance, you're examining performance metrics to identify risk signals early and support placement decisions with sound rationale. In the next, you're working one-on-one with a student, diagnosing misunderstandings as they occur and enabling forward progress before minor challenges escalate into serious setbacks. This is an accountability-driven role, not a passive observation position. Outcomes rest with you.

This position suits individuals who want immediate evidence of their impact. If you value ownership, enjoy working directly with students, and find satisfaction in enabling accelerated learning through better decision-making, this environment will align with your strengths.

Apply if you want your contributions to be measurable within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate precise, actionable academic reports that enable timely intervention
  • Take full accountability for academic results within your assigned student cohort, including placement choices, testing protocols, and follow-through actions
  • Lead targeted academic intervention sessions designed to uncover root causes and eliminate learning obstacles immediately
  • Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish genuine knowledge deficits from execution errors and prescribe focused corrective measures
  • Partner with academic leadership and parent support teams to escalate emerging risks and refine operational tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused or unimplemented
  • Operating solely in a back-office capacity without direct student engagement
  • Delegating academic ownership to instructors, tutors, or families
  • Facilitating broad tutoring sessions lacking specific diagnostic objectives
  • Allowing weeks to pass before addressing surfacing student challenges

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic intelligence and direct student interventions that produce measurable improvements in learning outcomes for your assigned student cohort.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented results or stakeholder feedback
  • Minimum 1 year of sustained, hands-on experience working directly with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this criterion)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles that integrate analytical and relational responsibilities
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced competency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and chart creation
  • Elevated emotional intelligence with demonstrated ability to establish trust rapidly with students and parents
  • Documented use of AI to analyze data or streamline workflows with quantifiable efficiency improvements
