Student Success Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for professionals who expect education to operate with speed, precision, and clear accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses the traditional school day into concentrated, high-impact learning cycles. Success in this model depends on academic decisions that are accurate, timely, and owned from start to finish. This position exists to fulfill that need: translate complex student data into actionable insight and deliver direct, trust-based coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where data-driven analysis meets personal engagement. In one moment, you're examining performance metrics to identify risk indicators early and support placement decisions with rigorous logic. In the next, you're working directly with a student, pinpointing confusion as it happens and enabling progress before minor challenges escalate into genuine setbacks. This is not a passive, observational position. You hold responsibility for results.

This role suits individuals who seek immediate evidence of their impact. If you excel with autonomy, find energy in direct student engagement, and are motivated by helping students achieve twice the learning velocity through sharper decisions, this environment will align with your strengths.

Consider applying if you want your contributions to produce visible results within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate clear, action-oriented academic reports that enable timely intervention
  • Take full ownership of academic outcomes for a defined student cohort, including decisions on placement, assessments, and follow-through
  • Lead focused academic intervention sessions that diagnose underlying issues and eliminate learning obstacles in real time
  • Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish between conceptual gaps and execution errors, then assign precise follow-up steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and parent engagement teams to escalate emerging risks and refine processes or systems

What you will NOT be doing

  • Producing reports that remain unread and unused
  • Operating exclusively in a backend capacity with no direct student contact
  • Transferring academic responsibility to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Delivering broad tutoring without specific diagnostic objectives
  • Delaying response to student challenges for weeks at a time

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably accelerate learning progress for assigned student populations.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented results or feedback
  • Minimum 1 year of sustained, direct experience working with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this standard)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support combining analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced capability in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and visualizations
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence with the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and parents
  • Documented application of AI to analyze data or streamline workflows with measurable productivity improvements
