Education Data Analyst   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for individuals who believe education must operate with greater speed, precision, and accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses traditional full-day instruction into concentrated, high-efficiency learning sessions. Success depends on academic decisions that are accurate, prompt, and fully owned from start to finish. This position delivers that: converting complex student data into actionable insights while providing direct, trust-based coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where analytical rigor meets personal engagement. At times, you will examine performance metrics to identify early warning signs and justify placements with sound, evidence-based logic. At others, you will work directly with students, diagnosing misunderstandings in the moment and guiding them forward before minor challenges escalate into significant setbacks. This is an active, outcome-driven position—not a passive reporting function.

This opportunity suits individuals who seek immediate impact from their work. If you value ownership, are comfortable engaging directly with students, and find fulfillment in enabling accelerated learning through better decision-making, this environment will align with your strengths.

Consider applying if you want your contributions to be visible within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic reports that enable prompt intervention
  • Take full ownership of academic outcomes for a defined student cohort, including decisions on placement, assessment, and follow-through
  • Deliver focused academic intervention sessions designed to uncover root causes and eliminate learning barriers immediately
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations that distinguish conceptual gaps from execution errors, then assign precise corrective actions
  • Partner with academic leadership and family support teams to flag emerging risks and refine operational tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that sit unused
  • Operating exclusively in back-office functions without direct student engagement
  • Delegating academic accountability to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Facilitating generalized tutoring without a clear diagnostic framework
  • Delaying responses to student challenges by weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning velocity for your assigned cohort.

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented outcomes or performance feedback
  • At least 1 year of sustained, hands-on experience working directly with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this threshold)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support functions that integrate analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced working knowledge of Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charting
  • Elevated emotional intelligence with the capacity to establish rapport rapidly with students and parents
  • Verifiable use of AI tools to analyze datasets or streamline processes with quantifiable productivity improvements
