Enrollment Coordinator   $75,000 USD/year

Description

You are the person who catches the incomplete form, identifies the incorrect date, corrects the entry, and ensures the system remains error-free before anyone notices the issue. If you find satisfaction in executing complex administrative operations with minimal mistakes, continue reading. If you require strategic presentations, public-facing responsibilities, or frequent interpersonal engagement to stay motivated, this role will not suit you.

Alpha School is expanding a new model of school network. This expansion generates a significant operational challenge: thousands of student files, enrollment documents, transcripts, medical records, attendance logs, and compliance protocols must remain precise as the network grows. This work lacks glamour. It is critical. Accurate records enable schools to function smoothly, families to receive proper support, and leadership to avoid administrative burden.

You will manage the high-volume processes supporting enrollment and student records throughout a multi-campus education network. During a standard week, you will examine intake paperwork, handle records requests, maintain student information systems, verify data accuracy, address inconsistencies, and assist with registrar operations. As Alpha continues adding campuses and students, your contributions will form part of the operational foundation that allows the network to grow without disorder.

If you are methodical, precise, self-motivated, and motivated by converting large information volumes into accurate, compliant records, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Examine enrollment and intake paperwork to confirm completeness, accuracy, and processing readiness
  • Handle student records, transcripts, medical documentation, enrollment verification materials, and records requests
  • Input, modify, verify, and correct student data within SIS platforms, databases, CRMs, or comparable systems
  • Monitor outstanding requirements and advance enrollment documentation through internal processes
  • Assist registrar functions, including attendance monitoring, testing coordination, file organization, and administrative initiatives

What you will NOT be doing

  • Directing enrollment strategy, registrar policy development, or school expansion planning
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for compliance, accreditation, or regulatory matters
  • Performing sales functions, converting prospective families, or managing family relationships
  • Delivering presentations to large audiences or representing the school in public settings
  • Supervising a team or assigning detailed records tasks to other staff members

Key responsibilities

This role ensures Alpha School can expand enrollment throughout a growing school network while maintaining accurate, complete, compliant, and audit-ready student records.

Candidate requirements

  • Experience handling high-volume administrative processes involving documentation, records, or data
  • Experience preserving accurate information within databases, CRMs, SIS platforms, or equivalent systems
  • Proven capacity to handle multiple simultaneous workflows while sustaining high accuracy
  • Strong written communication, organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and follow-through
  • Capacity to learn new systems and processes rapidly
  • Comfort operating independently in a fully remote role
  • Authorized to work in the United States or Canada

Nice to have

  • Experience with student records, school registrar functions, admissions operations, or education administration
  • Experience in healthcare, legal, insurance, or other compliance-intensive administrative settings
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in any field
