Description

While most schools focus on filling classrooms, our flagship high school is focused on transforming what families see as achievable during the high school years and beyond.

This role offers the chance to serve as the face of the campus that embodies Alpha's blueprint for the next generation of secondary schooling. As the Director of Admissions at our Austin flagship, you will present motivated students and their families with an educational approach designed to deliver exceptional results. You will also host international visitors, media representatives, business executives, investors, and education thought leaders who travel to witness Alpha's reimagining of the traditional high school experience.

Alpha's high school students complete rigorous academics in three hours daily through adaptive learning technology, then spend the remainder of their time cultivating practical competencies, starting ventures, pursuing internships, and gaining the self-sufficiency needed to excel beyond graduation. As Alpha grows, our flagship location establishes the benchmark for all future campuses. This position requires outstanding interpersonal skills, executive-level poise, and consultative dialogue. You will shepherd families through a critical educational choice while serving as Alpha's representative to prominent guests worldwide. Each interaction, campus visit, and engagement should reinforce the conviction that attendees have encountered a demonstrably superior method of equipping students for what lies ahead.

If you find energy in working with high-caliber families, excel in prominent settings, and aspire to influence the evolution of education, we invite your application.

What you will be doing

• Provide outstanding admissions interactions by facilitating customized campus visits, informational sessions, and enrollment discussions that empower families to select Alpha with confidence.

• Act as the representative for Alpha's flagship location, receiving media professionals, international delegations, business partners, investors, education innovators, and other notable guests.

• Establish meaningful connections with prospective families, guiding driven students and their parents through how Alpha's approach positions graduates for outstanding college, professional, and entrepreneurial success.

• Continually enhance the flagship admissions journey by recognizing areas for improvement at every stage and developing best practices suitable for replication throughout the network.

• Collaborate closely with campus administrators, marketing staff, and admissions colleagues to ensure all visitor interactions exemplify Alpha's dedication to quality.

What you will NOT be doing

• Managing applications from behind a desk with limited face-to-face engagement. This position is highly public and relationship-centered.

• Adhering to inflexible tour templates or impersonal enrollment procedures. Each family and visitor requires a deliberate, individualized approach.

• Devoting your time to clerical tasks rather than connecting with prospective families and prominent visitors.

• Working in isolation at a single campus. Your contributions will shape the admissions benchmark for Alpha's growing network.

Key responsibilities

Design outstanding admissions and visitor engagements that position Alpha's flagship campus as the benchmark for educational distinction, driving enrollment growth while demonstrating the future of learning to families and influential guests globally.

Candidate requirements

• 5+ years providing premium, tailored service in settings where quality of service directly influences brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, premium membership, high-value services, or owner-operated businesses).

• Proven ownership of a complete admissions, enrollment, or consultative client experience, spanning application, needs evaluation, solution delivery, commitment, and onboarding.

• Proven ownership of enrollment expansion or a comparable high-value customer acquisition objective, including proactive lead development, local market or community alliance cultivation, and quantifiable conversion or growth results.

• Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous prospective clients or families across various pipeline stages using a CRM, database, or similar documented management system.

• Capacity to offer specific examples of consultative decision guidance, including advising against your product or service when alignment was inadequate.

• Experience delivering in-person tours, presentations, consultations, or hosted engagements for prospective families, senior executives, VIP clients, or other distinguished visitors.

• Experience creating professional written correspondence for executives, high-net-worth clients, or other senior audiences.

• Willingness to live in or relocate within 60 days to Austin, TX.

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience directing admissions, enrollment, guest experience, or customer success operations within a high-growth enterprise.

• Experience receiving executive-level visitors, media, VIP clients, or public-facing programming.

• Experience refining customer or visitor experiences through data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and iterative enhancement.

• Knowledge of CRM systems and admissions or customer relationship technologies.
