We're seeking a Full-Stack Engineer who excels at tackling complex technical problems and shipping features that matter. You'll contribute to AI-driven products designed to reshape education and personal development. Your work will emphasize quality execution, with a focus on building systems that scale, remain maintainable, and drive meaningful outcomes.

The products you'll help build are redefining educational experiences:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-inspired learning interface.
  • TeachTales: Captivates learners through personalized, immersive storytelling that enhances understanding.
  • TimeBack: Functions as an intelligent learning assistant, embedding itself into existing tools to guide students proactively.
  • Athena: Delivers measurable academic progress using AI-generated video content and assessments.

This position is designed to produce tangible results through production-ready software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions addressing genuine challenges, not merely completing task lists. The expectation is rapid delivery without sacrificing quality—selecting the most straightforward, sound approach that harmonizes immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Complete Features: Shepherd user stories from concept to production; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct thorough testing, and release to live environments
  • Diagnose and Resolve Defects: Trace issues to their origin through root cause investigation, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent recurrence through intelligent test coverage
  • Elevate Engineering Standards: Evaluate technical designs and code submissions to ensure they are clear, simple, and correct, preventing technical debt from accumulating

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems as ends in themselves
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying challenge
  • Spending time in prolonged meetings debating strategy and timelines or coordinating schedules
  • Merely delivering features; your accountability extends to solving genuine user problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to create software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys quickly, and remains sustainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
  • Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
