We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer who excels at tackling complex technical problems and shipping high-impact features. In this role, you will develop cutting-edge AI-driven products designed to reshape the way individuals learn and develop. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional quality while ensuring our solutions remain scalable, maintainable, and meaningful.

You will contribute to products that are revolutionizing education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning platform.
  • TeachTales: Captivates learners through personalized, immersive storytelling that enhances understanding.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning assistant that connects with existing applications, offering proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated video content and assessments to produce measurable educational results.

This position is designed to create tangible impact through functional software. You will leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing substantive challenges—not merely completing task lists. You are expected to deliver quickly without sacrificing quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that harmonizes immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Drive user stories from concept to production; clarify specifications, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct rigorous testing, and release to live environments
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Diagnose issues via root cause investigation, address underlying problems (rather than superficial symptoms), and prevent future regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Assess plans and pull requests to guarantee clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from entering the codebase

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend architectures for their own sake
  • Executing specifications without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending excessive time in meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with others
  • Simply delivering features; you will be accountable for resolving genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to create software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys rapidly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Proven ownership: Documented experience taking responsibility for entire modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
  • Self-directed execution: Capacity to remove your own blockers, manage your own workflow, and navigate forward in uncertain environments
  • Practical experience incorporating generative A.I. into your daily development workflow
