Artificial Intelligence Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The educational technology industry confronts a critical obstacle: creating learning content that resonates with students while meeting their individual needs. A flood of one-size-fits-all, underperforming educational products saturates the market, making differentiation essential. Evidence shows that educational resources failing to engage learners or accommodate diverse learning preferences lead to dramatic declines in student participation, resulting in inadequate learning outcomes. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction within limited time frames and budgets.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through AI-powered innovation in content development. Our focus extends beyond simple AI tooling—we engineer AI-driven architectures that produce dynamic, learner-centered educational materials. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, responsive content efficiently and at scale. This strategy distinguishes us in a competitive landscape while expanding what AI can achieve in education, delivering learning experiences that are more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering opportunities. You won't be confined to routine programming or theoretical model development. You'll spearhead efforts to transform student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered processes that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This role doesn't suit those seeking predictable workflows or gradual enhancements—it's designed for forward-thinking innovators ready to apply advanced technology toward tangible educational impact.

As an integral contributor to our organization, you'll architect AI-enabled educational solutions with the capacity to reshape how learning happens. You'll deploy LLMs as specialized domain authorities to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing our AI produces substantive, high-value content. If the prospect of leveraging AI to reinvent education excites you, and you're prepared to own initiatives that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting Self-Optimizing AI Content Pipelines – Developing agent-based systems that produce educational materials and continuously refine themselves through evaluation cycles and systematic testing.
  • Building Evaluation Frameworks & Testing Infrastructures – Assembling curated benchmark datasets (inputs → target outputs) and scoring mechanisms to assess, benchmark, and enhance AI content quality.
  • Engineering Context Packs – Developing structured knowledge repositories that supply domain expertise and empower systems to deliver precise, superior educational content across multiple subjects.

Key responsibilities

  • Help LearnWith.AI stand apart from competitors by producing compelling and individualized educational materials using AI-driven solutions

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience embedding LLMs into software products (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Track record of deploying production systems where self-optimizing agents directed system evolution (e.g., created their own utilities, adjusted their own optimization targets, etc.)
  • Background in assembling evaluation or regression datasets that guide self-improving systems and establishing quantifiable performance benchmarks
  • Proficiency with contemporary agent-orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
