Artificial Intelligence Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies face a persistent obstacle: creating learning content that engages students while addressing their individual needs. The market is saturated with standardized, low-impact learning solutions, making differentiation increasingly difficult. Evidence shows that educational materials failing to resonate with learners or adjust to their distinct learning preferences lead to substantial declines in engagement, resulting in ineffective learning outcomes. This burden falls heavily on educators, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within tight time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI confronts this challenge directly by leveraging artificial intelligence to transform content development. Our focus extends beyond simply creating AI tools—we engineer AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, learner-centric educational materials. Envision an intelligent "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, responsive content efficiently and at scale. This forward-thinking strategy not only sets us apart in a saturated marketplace but also expands what AI can achieve in education, delivering learning experiences that are more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering roles. You won't be confined to routine programming or theoretical model development. Instead, you'll spearhead efforts to redefine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those who favor predictable responsibilities or gradual enhancements—it's designed for forward-thinking innovators ready to apply advanced technology to create measurable, real-world change.

In this role, you'll architect AI-driven educational platforms with the capacity to reshape how learning occurs. You'll deploy LLMs as subject-area specialists to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing that our AI produces content that is both relevant and effective. If the prospect of using AI to fundamentally change education excites you, and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining multiple AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by feedback from domain specialists and end users.
  • Developing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject-matter authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures specialized knowledge and organizational intelligence.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual foundation for business logic, guaranteeing scalable and efficient data architectures.

Key responsibilities

  • Support LearnWith.AI in distinguishing itself within the competitive landscape by producing engaging, personalized educational content through AI-powered tools

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production software products (building chatbots or utilizing basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Proven interest in educational technology
