Artificial Intelligence Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies confront a persistent challenge: creating learning content that resonates with students while addressing their individual educational requirements. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all, low-impact educational resources, making differentiation increasingly difficult. Evidence shows that educational materials which fail to align with diverse learning preferences or adapt to student needs result in diminished engagement and compromised learning outcomes. This burden ultimately falls on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction within the confines of limited time and resources.

LearnWith.AI directly addresses this challenge by applying artificial intelligence to transform how educational content is produced. Our focus extends beyond developing AI utilities—we are engineering AI-powered infrastructures that produce adaptive, learner-centered educational resources. Imagine an intelligent knowledge system for disciplines such as History or Science—a "Second Brain" capable of generating contextually rich, responsive content at scale. This strategy not only distinguishes us within a competitive landscape but also expands what AI can achieve in education, enhancing accessibility, efficacy, and engagement in learning.

This position differs from typical AI engineering opportunities. You won't be confined to programming tasks or developing theoretical AI architectures. Your mandate will be to pioneer new paradigms in student learning by architecting and deploying AI-enabled workflows that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This role is not suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual optimization—it is designed for forward-thinking engineers motivated to leverage advanced technology for measurable, real-world transformation.

In this capacity, you will architect AI-powered educational systems with the capacity to fundamentally alter how knowledge is delivered. You'll employ large language models as specialized domain authorities to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing that our AI outputs content that is substantive and effective. If the prospect of applying AI to redefine education excites you, and you are prepared to assume ownership of initiatives that challenge conventional limits, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Constructing Self-Optimizing AI Content Pipelines – Agent-based architectures that produce educational materials and continuously enhance performance through evaluation cycles and systematic experimentation.
  • Developing Evaluation Frameworks & Testing Infrastructure – Curated benchmark datasets (input → expected outcome mappings) and assessment methodologies to quantify, benchmark, and refine the quality of AI-produced content.
  • Engineering Context Packs – Organized knowledge structures that supply domain-specific grounding, enabling systems to produce precise, high-caliber educational content across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

  • Support LearnWith.AI's market differentiation by leveraging AI technologies to produce engaging, individualized educational content

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience integrating large language models into production software applications (basic chatbot development or use of simple coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Track record of deploying production systems where self-improving agents autonomously iterated on system design (e.g., generated their own tooling, optimized their own reward mechanisms, etc.)
  • Proven experience building evaluation or regression datasets that drive self-improving systems and establishing quantifiable success metrics
  • Hands-on experience with contemporary agent-orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
