AI Product Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

If you're a skilled engineer who values ownership, strategic impact, and solving intricate technical problems, this position offers the opportunity to develop critical product features while guiding technical strategy and safeguarding long-term resilience and expansion. The technical choices you make will have a direct effect on the product and its user base, granting you independence to innovate alongside accountability to execute.

Your work will focus on products reshaping education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning platform.
  • TeachTales: Captivates learners through personalized, enchanting narratives that enhance understanding.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning companion integrated with existing tools, offering proactive student guidance.
  • Athena: Employs AI-powered videos and assessments to produce quantifiable educational results.

Your mission will be to advance the technical maturity of our products, guaranteeing they remain scalable, maintainable, and dependable over time. Working in close partnership with product teams, you'll convert broad requirements into concrete technical designs and navigate complex obstacles while upholding rigorous quality benchmarks. The choices you make will define the product's trajectory and affect how thousands of learners engage and develop.

Our philosophy emphasizes deliberate planning and upfront architectural design. We adopt an AI-first methodology that automates routine work, allowing you to concentrate on decisions with meaningful impact and sophisticated problem-solving. You'll enjoy substantial autonomy and the capacity to steer product priorities toward enduring stability and scalability.

If you're prepared to spearhead the technical advancement of our SaaS offerings and harness generative AI to explore new frontiers, we look forward to your application.

  • Requirement Engineering: Partnering with the product team to clarify requirements and driving technical conversations to ensure features align with product objectives.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Overseeing product stability, optimizing performance, and proactively detecting and addressing potential issues.
  • Technical Design: Making high-stakes technical choices that directly influence user experience and product growth.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Becoming mired in repetitive meetings or grappling with tedious infrastructure concerns.

Candidate requirements
