Senior Applied AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry is confronting a significant obstacle: creating educational materials that are simultaneously compelling and customized to the learning requirements of individual students. Given the vast array of one-size-fits-all, underperforming learning platforms available today, differentiation has become more critical than ever. Evidence shows that educational resources that fail to resonate with learners or accommodate their distinct learning preferences lead to substantial drops in engagement, resulting in a void in meaningful educational outcomes. This dynamic increases pressure on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction while operating under tight time and budget limitations.

LearnWith.AI is addressing this challenge directly by leveraging AI capabilities to transform how content is developed. Our mission extends beyond simply creating AI utilities—we are engineering AI-powered frameworks that produce dynamic, learner-centered educational resources. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge system that can generate adaptive, engaging materials on demand. This forward-thinking methodology not only sets us apart in an oversaturated marketplace but also expands what AI can achieve in the education space, making learning more attainable, impactful, and engaging.

This is far from a conventional AI engineering position. You will not be confined to writing code or developing theoretical AI architectures. Rather, you'll spearhead efforts to reimagine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-enabled workflows that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those who gravitate toward routine assignments or gradual refinements—it is designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology to create tangible, real-world change.

In this pivotal role, you will architect AI-powered educational systems with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You will utilize LLMs as specialized knowledge sources to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that is both substantive and transformative. If the prospect of harnessing AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you are prepared to lead projects that challenge the limits of possibility, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Enabled Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Developing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Applying LLMs as specialized experts to create and sustain documentation that captures domain knowledge and distinctive organizational expertise.
  • Creating and deploying data architectures that deliver contextual scaffolding for business operations, guaranteeing data models that are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Support LearnWith.AI in standing out from competitors by producing compelling and individualized educational materials using AI-powered tools

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering
  • Proven experience embedding LLMs into production software systems (experience limited to chatbot development or basic coding assistants does not meet this criterion)
  • Clear and verifiable interest in the EdTech sector
